Here are a few thoughts that some of our guests have shared with us:

We have stayed here twice now. We have in the area scouting for elk. (Randy has a tag after 30 some years trying to get one) We have been by here a hundred times and said that looks like a nice a place to stay. Way to much money for us to stay there ........NOT TRUE......the cost to stay was way way better then in the town just up the road. Supper clean rooms extras. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great stay. Randy and Cheryl Trafton

Thank you John & Elena for a wonderful experience during our stay at your lodge. You were so very accomadating to our group with allowing us to use the rec room area for our gathering. The rooms were so nicely appointed. We definately recommend staying at ICL espcially room #11. Thanks again. Linda & Mike

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lodge, which is both clean and centrally located for fishing the Trinity. The staff was friendly and attentive to every need. The dining room was perfect for our GWWF/Mayflies social event. I will certainly recommend Indian Creek Lodge to my fishing friends--it's beautiful there.

I really enjoyed my stay at Indian Creek Lodge. It is clean, very comfortable and relaxing, and priced right. It is very convenient to some of the best steelhead and salmon fishing in the Northwest. I really couldn't ask for more and I am looking forward to my next trip.

I loved my stay at the Lodge. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was lovely to walk by the river and to enjoy the pristine beauty of northern CA. I hope to return soon!

Thank you for a very clean room, the kitchen and bathroom were great. The Lodge setting is fantastic with fishing water out the backdoor. The entire staff was very helpful and I can see this place as one of my fishing homes. Patrick Stauter January 2011

Stay at ICL this weekend with my fishing club people were friendly, rooms were clean, location is perfect. I will stay there again and would recommend to anyone that is on a fishing trip or an out in the area.

Great fishing lodge. Clean rooms, all freshly remodeled. Owner and all of staff went out of their way to make sure my wife and I were comfortable--it's hard to find this kind of service anymore. There's great fishing right in back of lodge. We certainly will be returning soon! Great rates too!

I returned to the Weaverville/Trinity area after several decades, hoping to reconnect with memories of family vacations at a small guest ranch in the area; it was in a beautiful setting, and run by a couple whose warm hospitality made us feel like friends more than paying customers. Staying at Indian Creek Lodge was a perfect place to stay for making new happy memories of the area. It's a beautifully maintained property, and the staff conveyed a genuine sense of caring about the guests' experience (including excellent email communication before and after my stay). Alas, words can't express the value of a distinct feature of this lodging: being able to walk across an expansive lawn to sit at the edge of the iconic Trinity River. Old-growth forest in every direction, only the sound of the rippling water. I'll be dreaming of a return. Stayed Augu

My wife and I stayed at the Indian Creek Lodge not knowing what we would encounter. What we found was a beautifully rustic touch in a setting that they work very hard to keep as naturally original as possible. The atmosphere is complemented by the hosts who literally put the capital C on Customer Service. One has to have the mindset of getting away in a rustic setting to really enjoy the stay. If you want to be lavished with a 3 story building and 5 star watery coffee, spend your Franklins at a major chain.

My friend and I stayed here September 8 & 9 to fish. The Indian Creek Lodge has about a 1/4 mile frontage on the Trinity River, one of the best in California for salmon, steelhead and trout fishing. Located on Highway 299W near Weaverville, this section of California allows you to experience what our state was like before settlers arrived. Tinity County has only 13k population and covers over 3,000 square miles (mostly forest and pristine wilderness). I can understand the positive reviews for weddings here, the large meadow between the lodge and river is picture perfect. We booked the two day fishing special package. This included two days with an expert guide, Todd LeBoeuf--- on his drift boat, $100 credit at La Grange Cafe in Weaverville and two nights lodging. We caught our limit of salmon both days. Todd knows every ripple and hole in the river and how they play out with different water levels. The LaGrange Cafe is in a beautifully restored gold rush building. They have a wine list that rivals the top San Francisco restaurants, at one half the price. Even if we didn't catch a fish, the trip would have been worth it. This is one of the prettiest stretches of river in the west. I could've lounged on the lodge's river bank with a book and enjoyed it as much. The owners, John and Elena Letton, created a perfect way to vacation on the river. Our room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds had new, firm mattresses. We slept well. We will be coming back in November or December for steelhead season. You won't find a better spot in the Weaverville area. I recommend it for fishing, romance, hiking base or just relaxing.

We come up every April for my sisters birthday and have stayed at a number of places near Weaverville, and are happy that we have found Indian Creek Lodge. We stayed in the huge, and very comfortable 2-bedroom apt. And Kurt, the manager, was quite friendly, let us borrow a DVD player and even his DVDs. We will definitely try to stay there on future visits.

I enjoy staying at the Indian Creek Lodge because of the friendly, helpful people, family atmosphere and the tranquil setting. It's more like staying with a friend than at a motel.

I've been guiding the Northern California rivers for a number of years now and the Indian Creek Lodge beats them all for clean, comfortable lodging on a world class river. With a launch right on the property I save driving time and fishing time. The owners are professional, and the hospitality is outstanding.
