Here are a few thoughts that some of our guests have shared with us:
I was transfered to Weaverville on very short notice for a new job. While looking for a new home, I stayed at the Indian Creek Lodge. For nearly three weeks they were able to provide the perfect solution. They provided an exceptional stay with a room that came with a great little kitchenette and beautiful views. Everything was clean and comfortable in my little home away from home. Short or long stay the Indian Creek Lodge is the perfect solution for anybody traveling in Trinity County.

Thank you for a very clean room, the kitchen and bathroom were great. The Lodge setting is fantastic with fishing water out the backdoor. The entire staff was very helpful and I can see this place as one of my fishing homes.

My wife and I stayed at the Indian Creek Lodge not knowing what we would encounter. What we found was a beautifully rustic touch in a setting that they work very hard to keep as naturally original as possible. The atmosphere is complemented by the hosts who literally put the capital C on Customer Service. One has to have the mindset of getting away in a rustic setting to really enjoy the stay. If you want to be lavished with a 3 story building and 5 star watery coffee, spend your Franklins at a major chain.

Keep my room ready; I'll be back!
Thank you for a great time, an excellent room and the warm hospitality. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the Lodge setting couldn't be better. Fishing was a blast behind the Lodge and to be able to walk out the door into the river was amazing. And btw, thanks for the fishing tips. You're now part of our short list of must do's every year.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lodge, which is both clean and centrally located for fishing the Trinity. The staff was friendly and attentive to every need. The dining room was perfect for our GWWF/Mayflies social event. I will certainly recommend Indian Creek Lodge to my fishing friends--it's beautiful there.

The rooms at Indian Creek lodge are very comfortable, clean and spacious. The kitchen units make it easy to have a nice meal, go to bed, and be ready to fish in the morning. John definitely will go the extra mile for his guests.

I have been coming to the Indian Creek Lodge Every year with a group of friends ot flot down the river and it is always my best vacation. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Lodge and the people that run it!

I really enjoyed my stay at Indian Creek Lodge. It is clean, very comfortable and relaxing, and priced right. It is very convenient to some of the best steelhead and salmon fishing in the Northwest. I really couldn't ask for more and I am looking forward to my next trip.

We have made Indian Creek Lodge a holiday tradition for the past couple of years. The new owners have done a wonderful job of updating the rooms and making you feel at home. With our two Brittany Spaniels in tow, we all enjoy the spacious river front property and convenient private boat launch where we have access to some of the best fly fishing. We will be back again next year looking for the “New Year” party in downtown Weaverville.

I've been guiding the Northern California rivers for a number of years now and the Indian Creek Lodge beats them all for clean, comfortable lodging on a world class river. With a launch right on the property I save driving time and fishing time. The owners are professional, and the hospitality is outstanding.

The prime location of Indian Creek Lodge is noteworthy, but the warm welcome my Dad and I received from John and his crew during our annual steelhead pilgrimage was exceptional. Nice to enjoy the recent updates to the housekeeping rooms. Please keep us pencilled in for November every year.

Indian Creek Lodge sits at the heart of some of the best salmon and steelhead runs and pools on the Upper Trinity River, with many of the guide trips in this area either starting or ending at Indian Creek. The Lodge also has one of the best brown trout holes on the river where 10 pound browns are caught every year. Indian Creek is clean and well run, and fishermen can pick up local information from any of the many guides who frequent the Lodge. For my clients, this is the place to stay.

I enjoy staying at the Indian Creek Lodge because of the friendly, helpful people, family atmosphere and the tranquil setting. It's more like staying with a friend than at a motel.

We spent almost four months at Indian Creek Lodge, while working in the area during the summer of 2009, and have nothing but good things to say about how we were treated. The surroundings were beautiful, the accommodations were great, the hospitality was exceptional, and the fishing was an added bonus. John and Elena treated us like family. The large brown trout and steelhead were a blast. I highly recommend staying with these good people whether for work or play or both!
