Working in the Area

If you are working in our area for a few days or a few months, you will find the Lodge to be the perfect place to relax after work and be refreshed for the next day.  Special rates are available for lengthy stays.

Here’s what a few of our business guests have had to say:

“We were in the Redding area for a conference and we chose to commute from Indian Creek Lodge, which worked out great for us.  (The Lodge is close to Weaverville, and not too far from Redding.)  We had plenty of space for our laptops and conference materials and of course fishing gear. The kitchen was perfect too.  We were both very happy with the room location so close to river and of course it snowed which made it very cool! The mouth of Indian Creek is great hole and I will bring my fly rod next time to fish the slow section ahead of it.  I recommend Indian Creek Lodge to anyone headed up that direction.”

“My job with the State requires a lot of travel and I always look for quaint, off-the-beaten-path places to stay.  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Indian Creek Lodge…it was rustic (in a good way), exceptionally clean and spacious, and the price is very reasonable. We had exceptional customer service and felt like we were staying with an old friend. Although neither of us fish, we told several of our hunting/fishing friends about this place and they are eager to check it out next time they head North.  We will definitely stay there again when our travels take us to the Weaverville area.”

“I had the opportunity to stay at the Indian Creek Lodge on a business trip and sincerely look forward to staying there again. The wonderful hospitality, comfortable room and beautiful scenery make this an easy choice!”

“We spent almost four months at Indian Creek Lodge, while working in the area during the summer of 2009, and have nothing but good things to say about how we were treated. The surroundings were beautiful, the accommodations were great, the hospitality was exceptional, and the fishing was an added bonus. John and Elena treated us like family. It was nice to come home from a long day of work and relax in the air conditioned rooms overlooking the river and even sneak in a cast or two before dark. The large brown trout and steelhead were a blast. I highly recommend staying with these good people whether for work or play or both!”

“John, I thought I would drop you a line to tell you how much I enjoyed staying at your lodge for a few weeks while we were working for on the lumber mill in Weaverville. It started with you coming out to greet us when we arrived, to you and your wife’s hospitality while we were there, not to mention the beautiful river and scenery surrounding your place. Thanks again.”

I stayed at Indian Creek Lodge for several nights while working in the area.  It was comfortable and conveniently located close to Weaverville and the job site.  All the staff were welcoming and made my stay enjoyable–it felt more like home than a hotel.  Some of the time I stayed in a kitchenette which made it nice to have the choice of fixing something there for dinner as opposed  to having to go out.  I strongly recommend the Lodge for leisure and/or working in that area.
