If you are working in our area for a few days or a few months, you will find the Lodge to be the perfect place to relax after work and be refreshed for the next day. Special rates are available for lengthy stays.
Here’s what a few of our business guests have had to say:
Wonderful place. Located right near the Trinity River with clean, nice rooms, outdoor BBQs and some nice outdoor lounge areas. The onsite restaurant has surprisingly good food and a proper chef but they're only open for dinner. Not much else nearby for food unfortunately. Staff is wonderful as well. I would stay here just for a weekend even without the fishing!
The room is clean and comfortable, with several nice touches. They put a 4 port USB charger on the nightstand and there is a ceiling fan in the room.
The restaurant is worth a visit of its own, our server was Kayla and I cannot rave enough about her. The food was superb. I had a Rib Eye that was cut with a fork. My better half had the chicken and was closing her eyes to better savor the flavors. I recommend that you eat here and definitely need to ask for Kayla to be your server.
This was the best of the hotels we stayed in on a 5 day trip to Ashland, down the CA coast and across the mountains. The hotel is nestled between two large hills with a river running through the property. An idyllic spot except for the highway close by. The restaurant in and of itself is worth the trip. Had an excellent elk osso bucco.
Location: Near the town of Weaverville, which has a nice quaint old town with a lot of shops and restaurants.
We stopped to stay at Indian Creek Lodge on the way home from a road trip, and we are so glad we did! It was so nice to come into a warm lobby with friendly staff and hot apple cider (with a kick) after a long drive. The rooms were very clean and so charming. It didn't feel like a stock hotel room at all. The hotel grounds are well taken care of and beautiful, right on the river. The restaurant menu looked delicious, even though we didn't eat there. If we ever come back through this area we will definitely stay here again!
The lodge was very clean, the front desk people were beyond helpful and nice. We stayed in a two bedroom facing the river and it was so beautiful. The kitchenette was fully stocked and Immaculate. When we checked in it was suggested we eat dinner at the Cafe on the property. I have no idea why they call this a Cafe because it was a beautiful gourmet dinner and very unexpected in this small town . Do yourself a favor and stop here, eat dinner at the Cafe, meet the very helpful people who run the lodge and you will not be sorry.
This is one of the better establishments to stay it in Weaverville/Douglas CIty area! It's clean and the staff are really friendly!
I recently stayed at Indian Creek Lodge due to work in Weaverville. All staff at ICL were extremely friendly, and accommodating. They learned I needed to set up a computer and printer, and immediately brought a card table and chair to my room. The housekeeper asked if I needed anything, and even asked if I would like her to bring a lounge chair. I don't think I have encountered such great staff.
The grounds were beautifully maintained. I need to return to Weaverville again in 2 weeks, and will not hesitate to stay there again.
Awesome host and beautiful setting. Accommodations were updated and comfortable. The host offered us a kitchenette with double beds for the same price as a kitchenette with a single bed. We'll definitely be back!
Traveling to Trinity County for business, I was unsure where to stay. Someone recommended the Indian Creek Lodge, and I am glad she did! The grounds were beautiful, accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the service – over the phone, via e-mail, and in person – was terrific. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
We were in the Redding area for a conference and we chose to commute from Indian Creek Lodge, which worked out great for us. (The Lodge is close to Weaverville, and not too far from Redding.) We had plenty of space for our laptops and conference materials and of course fishing gear. The kitchen was perfect too. We were both very happy with the room location so close to river and of course it snowed which made it very cool! The mouth of Indian Creek is great hole and I will bring my fly rod next time to fish the slow section ahead of it. I recommend Indian Creek Lodge to anyone headed up that direction.
My job with the State requires a lot of travel and I always look for quaint, off-the-beaten-path places to stay. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Indian Creek Lodge…it was rustic (in a good way), exceptionally clean and spacious, and the price is very reasonable. We had exceptional customer service and felt like we were staying with an old friend. Although neither of us fish, we told several of our hunting/fishing friends about this place and they are eager to check it out next time they head North. We will definitely stay there again when our travels take us to the Weaverville area.
“I had the opportunity to stay at the Indian Creek Lodge on a business trip and sincerely look forward to staying there again. The wonderful hospitality, comfortable room and beautiful scenery make this an easy choice!”
“We spent almost four months at Indian Creek Lodge, while working in the area during the summer of 2009, and have nothing but good things to say about how we were treated. The surroundings were beautiful, the accommodations were great, the hospitality was exceptional, and the fishing was an added bonus. John and Elena treated us like family. It was nice to come home from a long day of work and relax in the air conditioned rooms overlooking the river and even sneak in a cast or two before dark. The large brown trout and steelhead were a blast. I highly recommend staying with these good people whether for work or play or both!”

“John, I thought I would drop you a line to tell you how much I enjoyed staying at your lodge for a few weeks while we were working for on the lumber mill in Weaverville. It started with you coming out to greet us when we arrived, to you and your wife’s hospitality while we were there, not to mention the beautiful river and scenery surrounding your place. Thanks again.”

I stayed at Indian Creek Lodge for several nights while working in the area. It was comfortable and conveniently located close to Weaverville and the job site. All the staff were welcoming and made my stay enjoyable–it felt more like home than a hotel. Some of the time I stayed in a kitchenette which made it nice to have the choice of fixing something there for dinner as opposed to having to go out. I strongly recommend the Lodge for leisure and/or working in that area.
