Reservation and Cancellation Policy
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy.  Authorization to charge a valid credit card number will reserve your unit(s) until 5 p.m. of the third day before your reservation commences.  For example if you are making a reservation for a weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) we will hold your reservation and you may cancel without charge until 5 p.m. on Tuesday before the weekend.  For late cancellations and “no shows” we may charge your credit card for the full amount of your reservation.

On three day/holiday weekends, and over the Thanksgiving weekend. reservations must be for a minimum of two consecutive nights.

GROUP RESERVATIONS/CANCELLATIONS

For groups reserving five or more units the cancellation deadline is 30 days before the reservation commences.

REFUNDS

Because the Lodge has a small number of units our official policy must be “no refunds” for late cancellations—if we hold a unit for you then we may be turning other business away.  However, we are reasonable folks and will try to work out a fair resolution if you have to cancel after a deadline for a reason beyond your control.

Dog Policy

We are “dog friendly” within these reasonable limits.
  1. Within the last three months your dog must have been treated with a recognized flea and tick medicine such as Frontline or Advantage.
  2. You must bring your own dog beds/cushions/blankets, etc. and keep these items on the floor for your pet. Your dog must not be allowed on any beds or other furniture.
  3. You must tell us that you will have dog with you when making a reservation and at check-in. A $10 per night charge for each dog may be imposed. Unauthorized dogs may result in a $100 charge and/or your own departure and forfeiture of room rental.
  4. Dogs may not be left unattended in your room, and they must be kept on leash or otherwise under direct control when outdoors. We are not responsible for the safety of your dogs or any danger posed by them or any damage done by them – you are.
  5. Please take your dog to the designated “Pet Area” behind the kitchenette units for “doing business”, AND clean up after your dog. Plastic baggies and gloves are available at the office in case you are not prepared.
  6. You are free to exercise your dog anywhere on the Lodge grounds so long as you always maintain direct control.
  7. Many dog owners feel that their dog is the “best behaved in the world”- and we have cleaned up the damage left by some of those same dogs. Please understand that we can’t make exceptions to these rules, no matter how you feel about your dog. Appropriate charges will be made to your credit card or withheld from your deposit when necessary.
