Just Traveling Through

While many of our guests tend to stay a while, overnight guests are more than welcome. We provide the perfect stop over to rest, and take in the beauty of the area.  Park directly in front of your unit, unload your toothbrush, and take a relaxing stroll along the river.

Here are comments from some of our overnight guests who were just traveling through:

This is a very lovely place with lots of good things. The room was great, the pool was very nice and the view of the river out back is great. Love the fire and chairs by the river. Great people that treated us great. Stayed in room 8 which is where Bing Crosby stayed when he came up to go fishing.

One of the best places we have ever stayed at!

The staff was nice and check-in was fast. The room was clean. Out back they had a very nice open area where we watched the meteor shower after walking away from the nighttime lighting. We could have stayed much longer, there was so much to do. They had a pool, horseshoes, and floating tubes available. Shower temperature fluctuated unpredictably.

So much to do!

This was a great halfway stop between Redding and the coast. Room was very nice and staff very welcoming. We enjoyed the Trinity River flowing past the grounds along with deer in the morning. Be sure to visit Weaverville and the Joss House-a must stop.

Very friendly office staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained. We stayed in the penthouse room and were impressed with the size of the room(s). Beds were a little hard but manageable. Had fresh ground coffee given to us at check in and more available upon request. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful small lodge with a very friendly staff. Clean quiet rooms with WI-FI. They will grind you fresh locally roasted coffee that you can brew right in your room every morning. There is a pool, fire pit and bbq available for use. The river is only a few hundred yards away and is easily accessible. I have stayed here numerous times and would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful place. Located right near the Trinity River with clean, nice rooms, outdoor BBQs and some nice outdoor lounge areas. Staff is wonderful as well. I would stay here just for a weekend even without the fishing!

This was the best of the hotels we stayed in on a 5 day trip to Ashland, down the CA coast and across the mountains. The hotel is nestled between two large hills with a river running through the property.

Location: Near the town of Weaverville, which has a nice quaint old town with a lot of shops and restaurants.

We stopped to stay at Indian Creek Lodge on the way home from a road trip, and we are so glad we did! It was so nice to come into a warm lobby with friendly staff and hot apple cider (with a kick) after a long drive. The rooms were very clean and so charming. It didn't feel like a stock hotel room at all. The hotel grounds are well taken care of and beautiful, right on the river. If we ever come back through this area we will definitely stay here again!

I usually stay in Weaverville when I travel in the area, but decided to stay at the Indian Creek Lodge (8 miles from Weaverville) because it has river access for fly fishing. It is a great place to stay. The rooms are far more fancy than those found in Weaverville, and my room was cheaper. You pick the room you want on the hotel website, and the photos they provide are accurate. The Indian Creek Lodge was a pleasant surprise, and I have recommended it to the members of my San Francisco casting and angling club.

We planned an overnight to celebrate my birthday, but just couldn't tear ourselves away from this enchanting spot. The hosts and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming.
The accommodations were spotless and comfortable. Our second evening we sat by the river and walked back to the lodge to find the barbecue lit and ready for our steak. A perfect getaway. Can't wait to return.

Lovely quiet clean lodge right on the beautiful Trinity River. I had driven by this Lodge for many years on our way up to a Children's camp near Hayfork. We were greeted by warm welcoming staff who helped make our one day stay relaxing and enjoyable.

We really enjoyed a long July 4th weekend by the river with some friends. The location is very picturesque by the river with a long lawn, and a great pool from which to escape the sun. We were close to Weaverville to shop and enjoy the parade, and had a great day out to Lewiston Lake. Wine and cheese stop at the Winery highly recommended also. Our room was perfect, the shared spaces upstairs and on the lawn all make for a stress-free stay, and then the friendly staff. Already made reservations for next year!
Oh, must mention the Osprey chasing the Eagle over the river. Amazing!

The lodge was very clean, the front desk people were beyond helpful and nice. We stayed in a two bedroom facing the river and it was so beautiful. The kitchenette was fully stocked and Immaculate. When we checked in it was suggested we eat dinner at the Cafe on the property. I have no idea why they call this a Cafe because it was a beautiful gourmet dinner and very unexpected in this small town . Do yourself a favor and stop here, eat dinner at the Cafe, meet the very helpful people who run the lodge and you will not be sorry.

We booked our room because the driving distance to Redwood was to far. But what a suprise. The room was really clean, big and cosy. A warm welcome with a personal card. And a magnificent view in the backyard on Trinity River.

This is one of the better establishments to stay it in Weaverville/Douglas CIty area! It's clean and the staff are really friendly!

Never fails to please me when a hotel actually keeps their rooms Clean. Rooms are not fancy, fishing folk don’t need frills, but rates are reasonable, it’s quiet at night, the wifi works and yes! The Cafe has good Italian food on the menu for dinner! I’ll stay again on my way by. Thank you!

We had a fabulous stay!  We particularly enjoyed the great outdoors of the property, and were thrilled with all the space we had in the second bedroom.  The entire unit was very clean, well-equipped, and homey.

We had a great time. The professional greetings and attitude displayed made us feel at home and part of the growing family of friends of Indian Creek Lodge. The fishing was great, the rooms are outstanding. Well kept and homey—a job well done.  We will be back in a month or two for steelhead fishing.

We have nothing but praise for your accommodations. Thanks for offering a comfortable, clean, cozy room after a long day of driving. If we pass through again, we will certainly stay at the Indian Creek Lodge, and will recommend it to others who might be traveling your way.

Our weekend at Indian Creek Lodge was fabulous! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the personal service, and the clean and comfortable accommodations! We even had a blast playing ping-pong upstairs–it was like being at summer camp!!
We’d definitely repeat the stay should we find ourselves up in Weaverville again!

Every once in awhile a person stumbles across a gem in the rough. Indian Creek Lodge is that find. For a place to stay while fishing or just relaxing Indian Creek Lodge offers a spotless clean facility with a Five Star staff. I highly recommend Indian Creek Lodge as not only a place to rest a weary head but also as a place that will make you feel truly welcomed.
