Dec 20 - Trinity River Fishing REport

December 20 - The river flows and weather patterns have been fairly consistent for the last week and it’s definitely winter fishing near the lodge. Most everyone is reporting sucessful days but they’re having to work hard for every hookup.

We’re watching to see if we get a little moisture at the end of the week and it appears daily highs will be peaking around 63 degrees on Christmas day. If both occur, we should expect daily runoff with new fish moving up the system. Check the reports from the Fly Shop or Confluence Outfitters for the typical fly list, it seems more important that you put it on their nose rather than a particular fly pattern.
